Dr. Rufus E. Ebegba Visits Delta State

Director-General of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA), Dr. Rufus E. Ebegba was in Delta state over the weekend to familiarize with the grassroots.

Ebegba led members of his entourage and well-wishers on a courtesy call to the Ovie of Ughelli, HRM Wilson Oharisi (III) at the palace grounds.

At the Palace, Dr. Ebegba, an internationally renowned Environmental Scientist intimated that his visit was to recognize the king, being a prominent monarch in Delta State and Nigeria.

He promised to continually contribute to the growth and development of the Urhobo Nation as well as other Ethnic Nationalities towards unity in Delta State and Nigeria.

The highlight of the visit was the remarks made by the King, who thanked Dr. Ebegba for being a worthy son and good ambassador of Delta State and the Country, by extension.

HRM stated thus “I bless you, my son, go and prosper into higher calling; may the desires of your heart be actualized by God Almighty”.

Dr. Ebegba, an APC Chieftain, also played host to groups and teeming supporters who trooped in to catch a glimpse of a ranking and most sought-after public office holder from Delta State.

Amongst the groups hosted include Ebegba Grassroots Mandate, Ebegba Support Initiative, Christian Directorate of Politics, APC members from Ethiope Federal Constituency etc.

In different messages, the groups pledged their unflinching support for Dr Rufus Ebegba, as well as called on him to officially join the 2023 Gubernatorial race.

Dr. Ebegba thanked the groups for the visit while charging them to remain steadfast and progressive democrats, saying God’s will be done in Delta State.

Dr. Ebegba departed for Abuja afterward to attend a lineup of events slated for Sunday, September 26th, 2021.
