Health Garde International, a multilevel marketing company on Saturday 21st of May hosted Frank Tietie, a human rights lawyer, and the Executive Director of Citizens Advocacy for Social & Economic Rights (CASER) as a guest speaker to enlighten its members and distributors on the twin issues of domestic violence and gender inequality.
The event which was held at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Abuja featured an electronic presentation by Tietie on the position of the law on the trending issues of domestic violence and gender inequality and, how they adversely affect society, particularly the well-being of women and children.

Tietie gave a graphic analysis of some of the salient provisions of the Violence Against Person (Prohibition) Act of 2015 and urged the audience, who were mostly women not to tolerate the slightest form of violence against them by anybody however highly or lowly placed.

The electronic presentation was thereafter followed by an interactive session where Tietie answered a wide range of questions from the participants.
