Dr Tope Ojeme ‘Jacks Up’ Ejiro Bavery Fund to 955K

Dr Ojeme, the creator of Nigeria's most widely broadcast pidgin radio programme, KONTRIMATA which still runs on the Radio Nigeria Network, Africa's biggest radio network is a strong believer in values reorientation for a better Nigerian society through rewarding heroic acts.

Tope Ojeme, PhD, Nigerian golden voice on Radio Nigeria and development radio & television producer has joined the train of restoring heroism in Nigerian communities by ‘jacking up’ the Ejiro Bravery Fund to N955,000.

Ojeme who is presently the Managing Director/ CEO of F-an-H Communications Ltd reached out to CASER Executive Director, Frank Tietie and promised to host Ejiro Otarigho, the now-famous burning tanker driver on one of his shows, any time he comes to Abuja. He describes Ejiro’s act of preventing a national disaster as a truly heroic act.

A detailed list of donors to the Ejiro Bravery Fund with account statements will be published on CASER website (www.citizensadvocacy.org) at the end of the 30-day fundraiser for Ejiro Otarigho and the campaign for restoring heroism in Nigerian communities which ends on the 11th of July. Every kobo realised from the fundraiser would be given to Mr Otarigho with his family of four children and a pregnant wife.

To Donate in support of inspiring heroism in our communities and to honour the Burning Tanker Driver who prevented the death of over 10,000 lives and saved property worth billions of Naira, in Agbarho, near Warri, Delta State.
